The reason this is a replayed set is because my over enthusiasm totally ruined the original recording by pushing the levels up too high on the mixer. It made no difference to the sound system on the night as the amps were set well low by Joel who knows me well and without the rooms sound distorting i had no idea i was ruining anything (i was very high at this point!) Duncan Parks set was recorded fine until the end and we will have that to listen to as soon as i edit it up for size. Sadly mine starts slightly distorted and then gets steadily worse as i keep turning it up. I'm not just blagging and worried about putting up a crap set ( it was actually fine ). And sadly It wasn't just my mix that was ruined, all 4 hrs of Simon Dk is the same as is the final 4 hours of Phil Banks, Balearic Mike, & Paul Murphy playing together. The records i play here are mostly the same & are in pretty much the same order except for the first few tracks as playing from scratch i had to set the mood. Playing in the bunker at The Weekend was an absolute treat for me and i enjoyed it immensely. This was not at all what i thought i would play beforehand but with the smoke, strobes and familiar faces along with Duncan's perfect warm up it just turned out this way. Viva Acid House ! Many apologies for the rather clumsy last mix but this was recorded after a 3hr trans-world Skype drinking session with Mark Luv-Dup and i was pissed and shattered by the end of it !
