This set was performed by John Kelly on his first visit to both The Warehouse & Plymouth in early 93. Just 7 months before he had blown the S-West away with his performance @ the first Universe event nr Bath and was truly at the top of his game. This night @ The Warehouse went off in a major way and we were treated to some classic John Kelly mixes. Of the many times he played for us he never disappointed always slammed the place and went onto become one of the biggest draws during our Warehouse run. He was always keen to hit the after parties as well and many houses were graced with his presence. The funniest thing i remember about John was his parking right outside The Warehouse every time and pulling out his fake disability badge with some old codger on it, setting the hours and then out with his record boxes and into the club. His triumphant return to Cultural Vibes @ The Quay Club in 2008 was also a big hit and a great deal of fun for us all of us although sadly we didn't get to record that one! There are more sets from John @ Cultural Vibes to come but it seems fitting to start with the first. Ladies & Gentlemen i present John Kelly Live @ The Warehouse.
