Introduction
Dave Green has been directly involved in dance music for 20 years. He was responsible for organising and playing at seminal S-West club night Cultural Vibes in Plymouth during the first half of the nineties and has been peddling his take on dance music the world over ever since. Cultural Vibes started in 1992 at the Quay Club and ran until the middle of 1995 following an inspired venue change to the hallowed Warehouse, a vast pre war Art Deco Cinema. During its record breaking run it broke many UK firsts and made DJ Magazines Top Ten Clubs in the country for over 14 months. Throughout 94 and 95 over 2500 people came each and every Saturday making Cultural Vibes one of the best supported clubs in the country during the absolute peak of club culture in the UK. During this time Dave was booked to play his brand of dirty edged house music at clubs all over the UK and in Europe.

After Cultural Vibes premature closure in 1995 Dave spent 5 years in London from 1995-2000 where he continued to play regularly all over the city, countrywide and in Europe. Throughout this period Dave primarily played real Electro and Techno as he found himself well served by great distributors (cheers Ribbz @ Prime and Fred & Lex @ Metropolis), unsurprisingly he collected prolifically and for a while became the only resident Dj @ Metalheadz never to play drum and bass. During his time in London he also found time to manage The Powerhaus, The Complex & The Blue Note Nightclubs for The Mean Fiddler Org and work with Detroit legend Derrick May and Emma Clare Davis' EMAN8 Dj agency. While working there he Promoted and played @ the CLEAR nights for the agency performing with a host of Detroit and Chicago legends in an old WW2 Air Raid Shelter under London Bridge Station. Following this he enrolled @ University in late 2000 where he successfully studied Broadcast Journalism and struck out musically on a more Disco influenced path. Currently living and playing records full time in New Zealand he is about to finally restart his recording career with long time partner in crime Steve Nolan.

Dave Green will be returning to Europe for May/June 2010 and will be @ next years Cultural Vibes Weekender. He is available for European bookings for a six week period. For info on dates please contact @ dnworldtour@yahoo.co.uk or culturalvibes92@yahoo.co.uk
